Good meeting, spoiled only by some really bad warp from a certain few. I think these need to sort it and do a test race before being allowed to race next week??

A test race would be good, would have to have everyone in the races though, as some people wont warp if there 5 people but if there 16 then there all over the place! good point though.

It's the same few week in week out tbh, so in all honesty, reducing turnouts by 4 or 5 cars a week will make the racing a lot better

Im totally with you there, but you cant just say. Your not racing. lol unless we've got a reason why.. I spose i could jot down a list of repeat offenders of warp and once you go over 5 races there a ban?

warp is a bloody good enough reason top say exactly that, "no you cant race" lol.

It ruins everybody elses race, gives an unfair advantage as they cant always be seen/hit and basically slows the servers down to the point where it starts delaying the meeting.

If you are told you are warping, leave, sort it and come back. If it cannot be sorted then unfortuantely it's good night. The warpers would soon complain if someone came modded week in week out and was too fast, too solid and genarally just took the fun out of it!

TNB seems to have taken a step back as of late in regards to the amount of people getting away with murder, maybe Ryano is taking on too much (ukdirt rm, tnb, college, work experience) I don't know, but standards have slipped and certain issues need addressing. Surely a league should be about quality, not quantity. Even more so when we dont have such luxuries as super servers.

Im back running TNB again for the next 2 weeks while Ryano tops up his tan on a nudist beach in Dorset with Crewie in matching Borat thongs :/

If your warping youll get one chance to sort it,If you return and you still all over the shop youll be leaving,I wont have the time or the patience to piss about with it,

The new guys have been racing a little while now and know the way it all works,Heres a few tips to do before every meeting for everyone,

*) Defrag your computer on wednesday!
*) Run a disc clean up - *essential*
*) Empty the recycle bin
*) Reboot the comp at half 7 on thurs night
*) Make sure your Hard drive isnt rammed full of crap

add to that, i know of some people (i used to suffer the same problem) that upon connecting to the server for the first race they are booted......resulting in the sudden panic messages of "RS RS END END" ETC ETC. After the first time of that happening connecting to the servers is ok again (well was with me|)

Now if thats the case with a few ppl, or even 1 person why not make a point of it with admin. 5 mins b4 meet starts one of the hosts can open up and do a quick 3 lap race etc, giving you the chance to get the whole "server booting" thing outta the way before the actual meet starts????

may seem simple enough to some but others just seem to wait till the last minute and hold up proceedings lol

enjoyed it last night until i got abuse from a 12 year old but hey ho. Thanks to all the senior guys for me getting me into rooms a lot smoother, just got to learn to drive now lol. That said now i am up and running its worth me going and paying for a jypad now.
Some close racing last night, one especially when i was nip and tuck and finally got pipped on the line by 421 in mnr hearse.

definately worth getting a pad mate, DONT get a wireless one mate, have a habit of turning themselves off mid race, or batteries running out!! Plus they can be thrown at pc screens when u get lossied :\

Warp is pants and ruins everyones racing!
I have the crappiest net connection in history as BT wont upgrade the local exchange, which means instead of me racing several times a week like I used to, Im lucky to be able to race once every couple of months.
If I turn up and I warp, I just make my excuses and leave, if you warp, you dont do anything about it and just stay for the rest of the night ruining everyones racing, you should in my eyes be booted and banned until you can be BOTHERED to do summat about it.

Grasshoppers, why not try racing with just one of you racing for the night and see if that sorts out the warp issues?
And when you say that your car is OK and everyone elses seems to warp, it is YOUR connection, as in game, everyone elses car will be fine to them except your car(s) will be the ones doing the warping.

Its not nice to have to sit out racing, but if you ruin everyone elses night, its even more unfair on them when they suffer for someone elses problem. Put yourself in their shoes.

y does people keep sayin theres more then one on my connection 902 only turned up for one race and it was only the first race i was in that warped and everyone was sayin there jumping after that race it was fine final was bit delayed but jamie didnt know the password to restart after he found out it run smooth i never warp on monday night bangers i raced there for a couple of meetings and iv never had a problem

i know mate i didnt mean the message to seem like that its 902 that warps i changed my colours cause i kept getting mixed up with him but i do need some advice tottaly going of the subject i just done my next car for a meeting in 2weeks how do i tune them so i can keep up with the veterens is it just the gears i gotta tweak any help will b great

also i may been warping at the 1st race cause i was wireless but theboss told me to use a wire and i was running fine after that
